The Truck Stops Plus 2010 template is sold in a Microsoft Streets & Trips 2007 .stt map template file ONLY because it is forward compatible. This means that the 2007.stt map template file will readily convert and upgrade to the 2008, 2009, and 2010 versions of Microsoft Streets & Trips and MapPoint and all later versions as well.
However, because Microsoft Streets & Trips .stt map template files are not backwards compatible, they will not work with older versions of Microsoft Streets & Trips and MapPoint prior to the 2007 version. Therefore, in the event that you are currently running Microsoft Streets & Trips 2006 or MapPoint 2006 or an earlier version, you will have to upgrade first to at least Microsoft Streets & Trips 2007 or MapPoint 2007 or later versions in order to be able to use the Truck Stops Plus 2010 template.
Further, when converting a 2007 .stt map template file to work with Microsoft Streets & Trips and MapPoint 2008, 2009, 2010, or later versions, only the maps are updated at the same time that none of the points of interest loaded into the Truck Stops Plus 2010 template are affected. Therefore, all of the points of interest loaded into the Trucks Stops Plus 2010 template will always continue to remain in their correct and accurate locations after conversion. Step-by-step instructions are also provided to walk you through the easy process of converting. Simply click on the download link and then when the download dialogue box appears, click the Save button to download the TSP2010.zip folder. Once the download is complete, simply double click the TSP2010.zip folder to open it up, then double click the TSP2010.exe setup file to begin installation if you are a Microsoft Streets & Trips user.. Follow the prompts without changing any of the installation defaults and when you click the finish button, a Readme/Help file will appear in a browser window.
