The Truck Stops Plus 2012 Template is sold in a Microsoft Streets & Trips 2007 Map Template (*.stt) file ONLY because it is forward compatible. This means that the 2007.Map Template (*.stt) file will readily convert and upgrade to the 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and all later versions of Microsoft Streets & Trips and MapPoint.
However, because Microsoft Streets & Trips Map Template (*.stt) files are not backwards compatible, they will not work with older versions of Microsoft Streets & Trips and MapPoint prior to the 2007 version. Therefore, in the event that you are currently running Microsoft Streets & Trips 2006 or MapPoint 2006 or an earlier version, you will have to first upgrade to at least Microsoft Streets & Trips 2007 or MapPoint 2007 or later versions in order to be able to use the Truck Stops Plus 2012 Template.
Further, when converting a 2007 .Map Template (*.stt) file to work with Microsoft Streets & Trips and MapPoint 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 or later versions, only the maps are updated at the same time that none of the points of interest loaded into the Truck Stops Plus 2012 Template are affected. Therefore, all of the points of interest loaded into the Trucks Stops Plus 2012 Template will always continue to remain in their correct and accurate locations after conversion. Please follow the easy step-by-step instructions under Roman Numeral I in the Readme/Help file to convert your Truck Stops Plus 2012 Template to the version of Streets & Trips you are currently using.
The selling price for the Truck Stops Plus 2012 Template is only $39.99 and there are no sales taxes or shipping charges involved. Upon completion of your order, you will receive an order confirmation page that contains a download link. Simply click on the download link and then when the download dialogue box appears, click the Save button to download the TSP2012.zip folder (1.72MB).
Once the download is complete, simply double click the TSP2012.zip folder to open it up, then double click the TSP2012.exe setup file to begin installation. Follow the installation prompts without changing any of the installation defaults and when you click the finish button, a Readme/Help file will appear in a browser window, Please read this Readme/Help file for helpful information and follow the easy step-by-step instructions under Roman Numeral I in the Readme/Help file to convert your Truck Stops Pl us 2012 Template to the version of Streets & Trips you are currently using.
